Hampshire Hospitals Charity is INSPIRE21 Business Awards charity
Hampshire Hospitals Charity is proud and honoured to have been chosen as the event charity for the INSPIRE21 Business Awards.
On Thursday, November 25, 350 guests will attend the prestigious invitation-only awards, which are taking place at The Hampshire Court Hotel, in Chineham, Basingstoke.
Just ahead of the award winners being announced, a charity game of heads and tails will take place to raise funds for Hampshire Hospitals Charity.
Alex Whitfield, chief executive of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) and a trustee of Hampshire Hospitals Charity, said: “Thank you so much to the INSPIRE21 Business Awards steering group for choosing Hampshire Hospitals Charity as this year’s event charity.
“Supporting and caring for people is at the heart of what Hampshire Hospitals Charity does. The charity’s goal is to make a difference to our local HHFT NHS hospital heroes and the patients they care for.
“Thanks to wonderful supporters, Hampshire Hospitals Charity is playing a key role in enhancing the wellbeing of, and support for, NHS staff, patients and volunteers on our hospital sites at Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester.
“Donations to Hampshire Hospitals Charity have really made a big difference during the COVID-19 pandemic as they have enabled the charity to deliver crucial support that has supported and bolstered staff and patient wellbeing during one of the most testing times in the history of the National Health Service.”
Alex added: “Good luck to all the finalists at the INSPIRE21 Business Awards, and thanks to everyone who makes a donation and supports Hampshire Hospitals Charity on the night.”
Hampshire Hospitals Charity is proud to be a member of NHS Charities Together – one of 240 NHS member charities across the UK that provide the extra support needed to care for NHS staff, patients and local communities.
Hampshire Hospitals Charity also works in partnership with other HHFT-associated charities to help support and enhance their work.
