We are so excited to be able to offer a limited amount of FREE spaces for our runners at this year’s Winchester 10k on 18 February!

Hampshire Hospitals Panto Players present: The Sound of Mucus
The HHFT Panto Players are back with their next hospital panto!
Come and watch our wonderful NHS staff perform in ‘The Sound of Mucus’ at Basingstoke’s The Haymarket on Saturday 6 January.
2.30pm - Family friendly matinee, Adults £18, Children £13
7.30pm - Adults only evening performance, Adults £23

Winchester Marafun
We are delighted to, for the first time, be able to offer FREE places to run in this year’s Winchester half marathon when you fundraise for Hampshire Hospitals Charity!
Simply pledge to raise £100 for our charity and we’ll provide you a free place to run!

If you’re not sure, we have a general fund that can be used by many areas within our trust, or you can support our flagship campaign, The Magic Lion Appeal, which will support improvements to child health services for children and young people in Hampshire.

Basingstoke TryTri

parkrun for the NHS!
Celebrate the NHS’ 75th birthday by joining in with parkrun for the NHS!
That’s right! On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July, we’re inviting you to join in with parkrun for the NHS! So, parkrun is a free community 5k and 2k (for juniors) run held up and down the country, but this time, it’s for the NHS.
The parkrun will begin at 9am each day and you will be free to walk, jog or run the distance as you follow the parkrun route.

HHFT Pantomime - Aladdin and The Magical Bedpan
Once again, the HHFT panto is back!
Join Aladdin on his search for the magical bedpan as he falls in love with nurse Prudence and tries to defeat the nasty baddies, the Head Porter and his helpers. Widow Spankey, the panto dame, runs the hospital laundry with Aladdin her son, Anadin and Aspirin her daughters, Nan, and her lodgers Wishee-Washee and Bonkers. They are all meant to help but actually don’t do a lot !!
The show is packed with songs, slapstick, silliness, audience participation and all the fairy-tale magic of a traditional pantomime!
All proceeds will go to our Hampshire Hospitals Charity, and will also support our flagship campaign, The Magic Lion Appeal.

NHS1000 miles
Celebrate the NHS’s 75th birthday by joining the #NHS1000miles challenge!
This year marks the NHS’s 75th birthday, and people up and down the country are being invited to mark the occasion by joining the NHS1000miles challenge! You can support Hampshire Hospitals through commiting to walking, running, cycling or swimming the distance of 1000 miles in 2023 whilst raising funds for a ward or department that you’d like to give back to.
How do I get sponsored?
To join in and get sponsored for the challenge, all you need to do is track your daily miles, set up your Justgiving page, link it to Hampshire Hospitals Charity and start getting those miles in! To make sure your funds go to the ward or department you want to support, please ensure their sub fund number is noted in your page description. If you do not know this, please email us at hh.charity@hhft.nhs.uk and we will let you know the number you need.
How do I track my miles?
You can join the national NHS1000 Strava group by clicking the link here or track your miles using an alternative tracker.
Are there others taking part?
By taking part, you’d become a Hampshire Hospitals Charity Challenger, meaning you can join our community of fundraisers over on Facebook, where you can share your progress, ask questions and see how other people are getting on with their fundraising adventure.
As part of the national challenge, participants are invited to share their progress on Twitter using the hashtag #NHS1000miles every Sunday at 7:30pm.

Winchester Round Table Santa Sleigh

This year, we are delighted to be one of the charities that the Winchester Round Table’s Santa Sleigh is supporting on Monday 12th December!
Volunteers from HHC will accompany Santa’s sleigh through Badger Farm in Winchester and collect donations as they go!

Basingstoke Neonatal climb Mount Snowdon
On Saturday 24th September, Basingstoke neonatal intensive care unit are climbing Mount Snowdon!
Together, they’re raising money for more breastfeeding chairs for their ward, which are important not just for the comfort and practicality of breastfeeding, but are vital in helping to create strong bonds between baby and parent.
